Battery care and maintenance
Bloated batteries can be due to lack of proper care and storage. In the event you experience bloated battery for your HOVERAir, contact HOVERAir or your reseller to make a warranty claim if it is within warranty period.
For batteries purchased from iTshock, we will send back the batteries for assessment before providing a replacement. Please note if it is water-damaged, user is liable for shipment fee and repair fee.
In order to minimise such event from occurring, follow the pointers below.
If you are storing your HOVERAir. Keep the charge level at 50%. (2 light indicator). Remember to charge the battery back to 50% once every 2 months.
Never keep your battery in full charge state for prolong period.
Never keep the battery attached to your drone if you have keeping your drone for long term storage.
The ideal storage temperature is +/-3 of 25 degrees Celsius. With less than 75% RH.
For places with high humidity, a dry box/cabinet is recommended.
Avoid charging the batteries under high heat environment. 15 - 40 degree Celsius is recommended temperature.
It is recommended to charge your drone using the external charger provided.
